Learning Self-Confidence from a Little Bird

In a dense forest, there lived a little bird named Pipit. Pipit was known as a shy bird who always felt inadequate. She avoided flying high because she was afraid of falling. Even when other birds soared together, enjoying the beauty of the sky, Pipit stayed perched on a branch, watching them with envy.

One day, a great eagle noticed Pipit sitting quietly on a tree. The eagle flew closer and asked, "Why don't you fly with the others?"

With a soft voice, Pipit replied, "I'm scared. My wings are small, and I might fall."

The eagle chuckled softly and said, "Did you know? I used to be afraid of flying too. I fell from the sky many times, damaging my feathers. But that's what made my wings strong. You'll never know how far you can go unless you try."

The eagle's words lingered in Pipit's mind. The next day, she flapped her wings and leaped from the branch. At first, she glided low, almost hitting the ground. But she kept trying. Little by little, she flew higher.

Days turned into weeks, and Pipit finally dared to fly as far as the other birds. She might not have been as strong as the eagle or as fast as the hawk, but she found joy in her courage to try and conquer her own fears.

Pipit learned that self-confidence doesn't come from being perfect but from the bravery to start, even when you're scared.

Pipit's story reminds us all:

If you feel afraid or lack confidence today, remember that every small step brings you closer to a stronger version of yourself. Don't be afraid to try because only by trying will you discover how far you can truly fly.
